Recycling/Upcycling
Schneider pen: Barrel made of bioplastics, which is a natural, renewable and compostable cellulose. Biodegradable according to DIN EN 13432. holzpost: Wood is recyclable and biodegradable. The Sprout pencil contains organic seeds to germinate. When the seed capsule is exposed to moisture it begins to degrade, releasing the seed within Sprout and starting its germination. Water your Sprout regularly and make sure it gets plenty of sunlight. Sunlight must be directly on your pencil for it to grow.

Hathay Bunano Proshikon Society (HBPS) is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). Re-sack: made with fair wages. Schneider pen: Products and packaging are PVC-free and cadmium-free. Landgarten: Glutenfree and GMO free. Sprout: The pencil solely is made of natural raw materials like cedar, graphite and clay.

Sustainability at Greenpicks
Our own business: At Greenpicks sustainability is in every single detail – with conviction. We use green electricity, have a green bank account, let our flyers be printed green and much more:
- Our website is hosted “green” with 100% waterpower (green electricity).
- We receive our electricity from “NaturStrom”. We keep our power consumption as low as possible, for example through the use of switchable power strips and energy-saving illuminants.
- For our flyers, business cards etc. we use recycled paper and petroleum-free natural colors. They are printed at a green printer.
- We use as little paper as possible. And if so, then we only use recycled paper.
- Our business account we keep with the EthikBank.
- To move forward we use public transport, bicycle, train and as little as possible the car.
- We are committed to the economical use of consumable goods and put emphasis on mindful consumption.
- We focus on long-lasting quality products.
- Also in private we take great pleasure in ecologically produced products, e.g. foodstuff, natural cosmetics, natural textiles, household and drugstore products.
