Product description

Bourette Silk Nappy Liner | Reiff

These lovely soft nappy liner for cloth nappies are made from 100% bourette silk. Bourette silk has great natural healing properties and so can help ease nappy rash quickly and even prevent it with regular use. The liner comes without cream directly onto the skin between the skin and nappy. Please use a clean one when you change nappy. It is important that the bourette silk is applied directly to the affected area.

The nappy liner relieves napkin dermatitis and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Thus, the sore baby bottom heal well and your baby sleep through the night.

  • Material: 100% silk
  • Sizes: 24 x 16 cm and 48 x 16 cm
  • Washing instructions: wash at 30° C with a wool detergent

Bourette silk comes from nature Bourette silk is a silk yarn. Although Bourette comes from mulberry silk worms, it isn’t the shiny slippery silk we usually picture. Instead, it has a rustic look and feel. After the mulberry silk is harvested, the bits that remain are collected, combed, cut and spun into a fibre with a subtle sheen and nubby texture. Bourette silk is reputed to have a healing, calming effect on the skin—which is why it is sometimes used in making liners for cloth nappies.
