The wooden cheese cutting board is perfect for serving cheese for supper or festivities. The olive wood board includes a cheese knife so you can cut your appetizers right on the surface. The board is perfect as a cheese platter and beautiful eye catcher at parties and on the buffet. The size and shape depends on the grown olive wood (stem sections). The bark gives the cheese board a rustic character. In the short handle is a hole for hanging up. Below is a loop to hang up the cheese knife. Handmade in the German olive wood manufactory "Olivenholz erleben". With an engraving the cheese board becomes a very personal gift.

The dimensions (length, width, height) are approximate. We from the German olive wood manufactory “Olivenholz erleben” (D.O.M.) try to keep these dimensions for you with every serving board. If a chopping board is a little narrower than indicated, you will get then a slightly longer board than stated. Here, nature makes the specifications that we want to preserve as much as possible for you.

Terms of delivery
We will ship within 4-5 business days after conclusion of contract (the delivery period begins after receipt of payment). Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the goods will be delivered in Germany within 3 –5 business days, in the case of foreign deliveries within 5 – 7 business days. When paying in advance the delivery period begins after receipt of payment. Please note that there is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays.
We ship by mail up to 1kg. From 1kg we ship with UPS, if necessary with DHL.
For international mail we use Post / DHL or UPS as a service provider

Energy- and resource-efficient
The drying of the olive wood takes place outdoors. Drying systems are not used. After drying, the wood is further processed: sawed, turned, drilled and finely ground. And brought to shine with a few drops of pure olive oil. The raw material olive wood is used from the trunk to the small pieces of olive wood. Even the chips or remnants are processed in the products or benefit the customer. For example, the chips of saws as smoker wood in the BBQ area.

Climate-friendly
The only transport of the raw material is the way to us and the shipping of an order from our workshop to the customer. The further processing is designed to save resources, since the storage for drying of olive wood takes place outdoors.

Reduction of pollutant
The olive wood is brought to shine with a few drops of pure olive oil. No use of varnish. Also, the wood glue used by us does not contain any solvents.

Durability
Olive wood is a raw material with a high hardness and density, which is extremely durable even under daily stress and which is extremely resistant to many substances and mechanical influences such as fats, hot cookware or sharp knife blades.

The products offered are created in a German workshop south of Hamburg by people with great skills and love of olive wood at fair salaries. Each article gets an individual signature and becomes unique with its own story. It is important to us that the price performance ratio always remains fair for everyone: from the supplier to us as the manufacturer, including the employees, to the customer.
