Sustainability
This product meets the following sustainability criteria
Bamboo is sustainable, biodegradable and compostable. About 99.5% of the elements used are captured in a close-loop container, which means they can then be recycled with minimal amounts of them being released into the environment, avoiding air and water pollution. The tube is made of recycled cardboard. The outer cover of the bandages is supplied as biodegradable plastic. The paper on the back is paper that decays. The bandage is made of 100% certified bamboo fibre and a mineral pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA), which decomposes and composts all ingredients.

We believe that reducing our environmental footprint is the pathway forwards and we strive to make ours as light as possible. This is why we've chosen to work with bamboo on this unique product line. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing, renewable resources on the planet. We use a Lyocell production process, that is considered to be the most environmentally friendly method of manufacturing bamboo cloth fibre. This is because it is more sustainable than most common chemical processing methods. According to the Fair Trade Commission (FTC), Lyocell is defined as a cellulose fabric made by an organic solvent spinning process.
Free from plastic, silicon, latex, parabens. The compounds used in this processing method are non-toxic and much safer for humans than other commercial processing chemicals. All PATCH patches have been tested without animal testing and are thimerosal-free, merthiolate-free, sulfate-free and without animal testing.
