Product description

Organic Millet Husks Mattress Topper with Punctual Stitching, 3 cm high, varying widths | speltex

When used as a mattress topper the lying characteristics, the ventilation and the heat balance of existing mattresses can be improved. Maybe you want to enjoy it especially when traveling, e.g. in the hotel bed. So you can have your homelike feeling of lying while being on the road. The punctual stitching mattress topper by speltex® can also be used on waterbeds.

Whether as mattress topper or sleeping mat – this mattress topper filled with organic millet husks is very versatile. Punctual stitching complex in manufacturing effect a uniform distribution of fillings and a maximum handiness. The filling material can be moved between the points and shapes according to the resting body zones.

The feeling of cuddly and at the same time comfortably stabilized lying may be a valuable aid for falling asleep and staying asleep. On treatment couches or deckchairs the natural padding of the organic millet shells contributes to relaxation and wellbeing. Similar to soft sand the fillings allow a smooth adjustment to the body contours. They are very breathable and always at a pleasant temperature.

Lifespan The durability of the filling allows a use of over eight years or more. The cover can also be emptied and the filling can be composted.

Take out filling If you like to have the mat soft and relenting, push something out of the filling. Then, close the zipper and take the mat at the opposite end. With short, vigorous shaking, the filling spreads evenly in the empty area.

Add filling To do this, hold the mat at the corner where there is the zipper and shake the filling in the other direction. In the now empty area, you can, for example, with a coffee cup, add the filling.

WashingThese mats can be washed as a whole. Because of the selective spreading of the certified organic millet husks the filling is spread evenly in a thin layer. Therefore, the drying succeeds very well in the sun. To make sure that the drying is completely successful, you can weigh the mat before the wash and then check if the dry weight was reached again. For the washing of mats in size 200x70 cm and 200x80 cm washing machines with a capacity of 10 kg are enough. For the laundry of wider mattress toppers correspondingly larger machines are needed. You also can take out some of the filling.

AttentionEspecially during the first wash, yellowing of the fillings may occur, which may be particularly noticeable on natural white sheaths. From the second wash, the husks only wash out minimally and discoloration from the first wash disappears again. In the case of organic millet shells fillings, these effects are less strong than those of spelt husks, and they are particularly noticeable in those areas where the mat has been folded in order to put it into the washing washing machine.
