Naturesse® = Biodegradable single-use ice cream container | Pacovis
The sustainable ice cream cups made of heavy duty, food-grade kraft paper are suitable for a healthy serving of ice cream, desserts, fruits, frozen yogurt and cold food. Naturesse® eco-friendly ice cream cup is built with reinforced, rolled rims for extra stability and support. The high-quality organic ice cream cups are made of brown, unbleached kraft cardboard with an inner coating of PLA and are therefore free of chemical additives and petroleum-based plastic. Natural brown cardboard container made from cellulose from wood fibre harvested in sustainable forests (FSC® certified). Thanks to the inner coating, the modern dessert bowls coordinated with the matching lids also withstand when filled with fruit salads with dressing or ice cream with chocolate sauce.
Available in four sizes, the ice cream container is good for bulk packing with quantity, is good for snack cups, and it has a leak resistant design. Biodegradable & compostable – perfect for catering, home delivery, ice cream parlours.

* PLA or Polylactide (also known as Polylactic Acid, Lactic acid polymer) is a versatile commercial biodegradable thermoplastic based on lactic acid. PLA products from naturesse are anything but conventional plastic. Instead of being derived from petroleum, an inexhaustible and renewable resource is used: natural lactic acid obtained from starch. And since the starch is extracted from sugar cane, or corn starch, for example, and lactic acid and thus fulfils the criterion of renewable biomass. The single-use tableware is a natural, 100% biodegradable product. The manufactured molecular structure of PLA is biodegradable and compostable. According to the quality seal of the EU standard 13432.

Delivery time: The delivery time refers to a receipt of payment (eg via PayPal) on the day of purchase and is based on the processing time indicated by the seller and the delivery time as instructed by the shipping service. In a later receipt of payment the delivery date is postponed accordingly. The actual delivery time may in individual cases, especially at peak times such as Christmas and on public holidays, differ.
For deliveries abroad, the actual delivery time may differ from the stated delivery time, and be between 3 and 7 working days more than specified for each product.
Notification about possible additional taxes and costs: For deliveries to Switzerland or NON-EU-countries customs and import sales tax may apply and are payable to the customs authority by the customer upon receipt of the shipment. Biodegradable and compostable bioplastic that meets the requirements of EN 13432. DIN EN 13432 stands for industrial compostability and means that our material degrades to water, carbon dioxide and biomass in industrial composting operations under defined conditions (time, temperature, oxygen, humidity) and in the presence of microorganisms or fungi. – The OK compost HOME logo guarantees that our garden compost products are fully biodegradable and have no negative impact on the environment.

naturesse products come from guaranteed fair trade. All our suppliers guarantee socio-ethical and ecological procurement practices in compliance with applicable conventions of the International Labour Organisation. Preference is given to suppliers with other sustainability certificates such as Sedex and SA 8000. Sedex: Supplier Ethical Data Exchange is a membership organisation for companies that have committed themselves to continuously improving ethical standards in their supply chain. The SMETA audit procedure (Sedex Members’ Ethical Trade Audit) examines issues such as working conditions, occupational safety and hygiene, as well as environmental management. SA 8000 is an international standard that seeks to improving working conditions, and serves as a minimum requirement for social and labour standards. SA 8000 is based on conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations (UN).

Energy- and resource-efficient
Cellulose from FSC®-certified forests and controlled sources is used in the production of the naturesse biodegradable cardboard range. The FSC® certificate guarantees the lasting protection of the forest including the plants and animals that live in it. For the production of naturesse organic single-use tableware, we use residual materials from agriculture, rapidly renewable resources and natural products from sustainable farming.

naturesse is a certified ClimatePartner (ClimatePartner.com 14268-2004-1003). All emissions are offset via recognised climate-protection projects. From the cultivation of the raw materials to production and delivery, you can be sure of 100% climate-neutral products! Standard ISO 14001: The international environmental management standard ISO 14001 sets out internationally agreed requirements for an environmental management system, and is part of a family of standards. This includes numerous other stipulations in various areas of environmental management, such as life cycle assessments, environmental indicators and environmental performance evaluation.
