Everyone uses storage and freezer bags as well as storage boxes made of plastic. With this food can be storaged, frozen and transported. The hazardous to health risks, based on conventional plastic products, are now known. And how do you dispose of plastic products environmentally friendly, which are made from petroleum?
The Austrian company NaKu is busy with the central question of how to combine nature and plastic harmoniously. The short form NaKu stands for Natural Polymers. The vision of developing a plastic that is made from renewable resources and can be returned to the natural cycle, has been implemented by the couple Ute and Johann Zimmermann with the establishment of NaKu in 2007. To keep transport routes as short as possible, raw materials are used from European growing areas. The production is usually done locally. All of these measures contribute to improve the life cycle assessment of NaKu. They continue to work on the optimization of a climate-friendly and energy and resource-efficient production. As part of its recycling program NaKu offers that damaged or no longer used NaKuWare can be returned to NaKu! These are recycled to recyclable material.
No one can dispense with practical sustainable supplies in the kitchen, as sustainable kitchen gadgets just facilitate the green everyday life. Fruit, vegetables and bread keep longer fresh in the eco-friendly NaKu storage bag. Who likes to cook in reserve and wants to freeze his food, grabs for NaKu freezer bag. With the colourful décor of children snack bag the breaktime snack for kindergarten and school is healthy packed. The large NaKu storage bag allows to carry larger amounts of fruits and vegetables from the weekly market at home and keep them fresh. At the end of its useful life, the storage and carrying bag can be used as a bag for organic waste. Thus all thoughts are over, that food is coming in contact with conventional plastic and that the plastic can not be returned eco-friendly to the natural cycle. Because the bags are made from corn starch (a type of bioplastics) and rot completely after use in the compost.
