Tumbler Mythos Drinking Glass | Nature’s Design
Nature’s Design tumbler »Mythos« is characterized by aesthetic design and a long shelf life – ideal for everyday use in families and in the fine catering and restaurants.
The cup Mythos is specifically designed for intensive use and safety, so it is suitable for children as well as commercial use. The gentle shape makes the glass easy to hold when filled. The shape of the tumbler insures that the glass cannot be tipped over.
The tripartite shape was composed in accordance with the rule of the Golden Ratio. Water or juice placed in the drinking glass is strengthened in its biological value and flavours can change, gaining a fullness or softness. The design of the cup “Mythos”, as with all our glassware, is made using the “natural law according to the golden ratio”. This mathematical model – found almost universally in nature – is often referred to as “Sacred Geometry”, because it is the geometry of life. Using the Mythos cup for drinking water and other liquids increases the biological value and improves flavor.
The construction is also suited for hot beverages: It is in fact a versatile all-purpose glass with flavour-enhancing shape, suitable for daily use.

Models
- Basic = Mythos Basic has no flower of life on the bottom.
- Gold = Mythos Gold has a 23.8 carat gold Flower of Life fired into the bottom of the glass at 600 degrees Celsius. Not dishwasher safe.
- Platinum = with a Platinum Flower of Life fired into the bottom. Not dishwasher safe.
- Happy = designed with a multicololoured Flower of Life fired into the bottom. Not dishwasher safe.
- Laser engraving of flower of life on the bottom (former Mythos White); dishwasher safe.
- High quality laser engraving of the flower of life inlying the bottom; dishwasher safe.
*Hint: Dimensions, small imperfections and weight are subject to standard tolerances of glass manufacturing.
CleaningThe symbol in the base of the glass (outside) is burnt in at a temperature of around 600°C and then coated with a food-safe protective coating. In principle, the glasses are dishwasher safe. After 500 to 1000 washes in the machine and depending on the hardness of the water and the detergent, the symbol may begin to fade.
Cloudy glasses - cause and solution Frothy and cloudy glasses indicate that the glasses are calcified.The main causes of cloudy glasses are as follows:
- Wooden items in the same wash cycle as glasses
- Hard water
- Incorrect dosage of rinse aid or too little salt
Limescale build-up is best removed with warm water and a tablespoon of citric acid* or vinegar essence*. Fill the affected glass with the mixture of warm water and citric acid / vinegar essence* and let it stand for 12 hours. Afterwards, you can dry the glass well and polish it. Repeat the process as needed.
* Please use citric acid and vinegar cleaners only on the inside, as the acid can attack the symbol.
