Our neck support cushion is ergonomic designed, U-shaped almost all around support your neck. Stop your head from falling forward or leaning left or right when you take a nap on travelling. Organic cotton twill for the cover, soft and skin-friendly. Detachable, refillable and washable, always keep your travel pillow clean and comfortable.

With a soft, organic cotton twill exterior and speltex organic fillings, the quality of the neck support pillow is luxurious, sturdy and sustainable. It is filled either with eelgrass, organic millet hulls or organic spelt husks that quickly mold to the shape of your neck and prevent your head from bobbing around while sleeping.

As you are able to vary the amount of filling, it is easy to adjust the pillow to just the right depth and firmness.

Organic Spelt Husks

Spelt husks are highly appreciated because of their flexible adaptability, their good supporting properties and their balanced, breathable climate characteristics. Rubberised spelt husks offer more stability, a longer life span, high resistance to fine abrasion and more support for the body.

Organic Millet Hulls

Supple & comfortable: The fine hulls form quite exactly how your body contours define it. Like soft sand they spread the pressure of lying very evenly. The rubber gives the filling more cohesion, so that the round-shaped millet hulls develop good support characteristics. Who is bothered by the rustling of spelt husks, finds the right alternative in utterly noiseless millet hulls. With rubber the fine, sensitive millet husks are much more stable and durable.

Advantages and Origin of Eelgrass

Rubberised eel grass offers a maximum of air permeability, handy and light weight; rustle when moving. elgrass (Zostera marina) provides a cosy comfortable feeling, maybe like only be provided from a wild grown, vegetable primitive material. It takes a surprisingly mild and pleasant pressure-relieving effect and has very good sleeping climatic characteristics (warm and airy). Due to the rubber impregnation the crimped structure of seaweed is stabilized. So, the fillings remain particularly in a good shape. They get more bounce and air permeability.

For speltex® seaweed sorts of excellent quality are used. It comes from the Baltic Sea and is dried in the wind and sun. It is hand-picked, impregnated with natural rubber milk, dried and finally heated. Thus the seaweed is extremely durable, dust-free and ideally suited for alternating filling as a upholstery material. Related to the same filling volume seaweed with rubber weighs only slightly more than half of high-quality spelt filling.

Eelgrass has been used for centuries for roofing and as an upholstery material. Lately it is used again for insulation. It has an extended durabilty, is resistant to mold and vermin and non-flammable.

Lifespan: The durability of the rubberised filling materials allows a use for at least ten years or more (depending on the intensity of use). For reasons of hygiene, it can be useful to replace the filling at shorter intervals. You can do this by yourself or ask your dealer to send it to us. The fillings can also be emptied and composted.

Allergy sufferer: The absence of dust eelgrass with rubber means a significant reduction in the risk of allergies for many sensitive users. Only in the case of high-grade latex sensitisation the knee pillow filled with rubber is not recommended for use.

The organic spelt husks and millet hulls are extracted in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 834/2007. This is audited by LACON Institute according to the EU organic regulation on origin from organic farming.

Washing
The cover is made from a cuddly twill of organic cotton and is washable up to 60° C. The fabric was pretreated with steam and shrinks at 95° C only slightly.

Filler loading
If you want a flatter, more compliant pillow, remove some of the filling. By adding you to get a higher and more supportive pillow firmness. Naturally, the filling gives way in the volume a bit over time. To obtain the optimum sleeping comfort for you, it may be useful to fill it up.
