The refill bag with spelt husks from certified organic farming allows you to fill your pillows, duvets and mattresses or replace the filling.

In a unique way, spelt and millet husks fit to the body shapes. They support, without merge and without exerting resilient back pressure. In addition, these natural plant materials provide a pleasant balanced sleeping environment. The always loose fillings do not only absorb moisture very well, but also give them just as easily again. This ensures an always dry airy environment.Spelt husks take in a particularly pleasant way the pressure of lying very evenly. Through internal cavities, body heat is absorbed and stored.At the same time the somewhat coarser fillings allow a very high degree of air exchange. This helps to prevent overheating and sweating, because excessive heat can easily flow out. Around 60,000 loosely distributed husks per kg load capacity develop best supportive effects and help in letting go and relaxing. They hold with resistance the form adapted to the contours of your body shape and thus contribute to a peaceful sleep and deep relaxation. The spelt husks are soaked in a bath of natural rubber latex. The sap of the rubber tree penetrates the husks and shells, such as an oil for solid wood furniture. This creates no sealing of surfaces. They remain porous and breathable. The moist grain shells are then dried and heated to about 80°C. Although the dry rubber amount of the finished fillings barely makes up 4%, it increases their resilience and durability tremendous. They are dust-free and very durable in use against fine abrasive. The fillings hold their shape better with rubber, which makes them more supportive and relaxing.The millet shells and spelt husks with rubber can be washed up to 60°C. With Rubber the shells and husks stand up to stress during washing, spinning and drying without any problems.

The natural rubber latex used was obtained on ecologically managed plantations in South India and bought according to the criteria of Fair Trade.
