Product description

If coffee is a part of your daily routine, why not do it more sustainably? » nahtur-design

Locally made in Germany of 100% organic linen for a delicious smooth brew every time. We offer the coffee filter individually or in a cheaper set of 2, so the used filter can dry while the other one is still in use.

The German linen manufacture processes 100% organic linen in a material density that is perfect for the filter. The flax grows in certified organic farming in Belgium and northern France and is woven in Austria. Reusable, this coffee filter in linen save both the environment and your money while looking beautiful at the same time. We only produce very small quantities to preserve the valuable raw materials. The coffee filter in 1x4 format fits into the standard filter holders of coffee machines and filter cones.

We deliberately offer only the untreated natural shade of linen and the oxygen-bleached version so that the boiling water does not release any dyes into the coffee. Before first use, we recommend to put the filter in a glass of water overnight so that the fibres can swell. Use it as a regular filter in your brewer or pour over, but instead of throwing it out use it again and again. When the coffee is finished brewing, allow the filter to dry in place and once dry simply empty it in your compost or garbage. Then rinse and hang to dry until next brewing.
