For this definition of quality stand equally the Fairtrade certification as well as the guaranteed origin of lingerie raw material from certified organic cotton. The entire underwear range of kleiderhelden is additionally certified according to the GOTS standard and PETA-Approved Vegan.

Recycling/Upcycling
Plastic-free and reusable packaging. Each product is wrapped in a simple and appealing paper bag made of recycled paper. Our high quality and authentic wavy shipping box is made of corrugated cardboard. By the way, to seal the shipping box an unreinforced adhesive tape made of kraft paper is used. The adhesive is obtained from natural potato starch. The entire packaging is recyclable and biodegradable. You do not have to separate the components.

Raw materials from organic farming
Certified organic cotton, tested and certified by CERES. Organic cotton is the high quality raw material of our underwear. The cotton comes from certified organic farming in India. It is grown without chemical defoliants and pesticides, mineral fertilizers and no green genetic engineering. In addition, the farmers are required by law. This is controlled by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM).

Fair + Social
Our cotton is solely fair traded. In order to be able to guarantee this long lasting and in every individual case, we put emphasis on the approved Fair Trade certification of our products. For the farmers, the Fairtrade certification of our shirts has significant importance. It guarantees a fair price for the raw cotton, which is sold to our manufacturer. Compliance with the certification criteria is being reviewed by the international certification authority FLO-CERT. Groups of producers, distributors and licensees are regularly inspected. The production stage in Europe is also fair and social. Our manufacturer is also a voluntary contrator of the BSCI quality seal. BSCI stands for "Business Social Compliance Initiative" and is an organization that develops common European codes of conduct and social standards monitoring systems. The code aims to ensure the protection of workers' rights. Compliance with the criteria is checked regularly.

As the first German lingerie company it has been certified to FairTrade in 2009. All fabrics are guaranteed pollution-free according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. The yarn processing with all finishing processes, the fabric manufacturing in the knitting factory as well as the tailoring of the fabrics take place in the headquarter of the German long-established company. Because of this fully integrated production and the quality management system according to DIN ISO 9000 it is ensured that each and every part of lingerie can be traced back through all stages of production.
