Product description

All-natural Hand Flatterer, Juggling Ball & Massage Ball | nahtur-design

For relaxed moments in everyday life. Our so called Tetrapeps are versatile triangle-shaped 'balls'. They are manufactured by Textile Recycling of the welfare institution Bruecke SH in Germany. The cuddly pyramids made of merino wool (mulesing-free wool from European animal husbandry) are stuffed with organic wheat and have many fields of application.

  • As hand flatterer they serve for relaxation of the hand
  • By kneading they strengthen the hand muscles
  • for balancing or massaging the foot they are placed on the floor
  • as toys they are thrown, juggled and hidden
  • as a weight they keep doors open or cut patterns on the fabric
  • and they just look good.

Free of harmful substances, hand flatterer can be safely used by toddlers to grasp, to improve the sense of perception.

Ecological Origin of New Wool

Loden requires very fine wool, which is not suitable for European sheep. We made a conscious decision not to use merino wool to maintain our animal welfare standards, close contact with producers and transparency. We have therefore chosen fine New Zealand wool.
Mulesing: The controversial method of mulesing is only used on Merino sheep and only in Argentina, as the specific fly responsible for the parasite infestation only exists there.
The wool is spun in Brandenburg and woven in Bavaria. The lightweight loden is woven, dyed and finished from 100% virgin wool in a traditional weaving mill (double certified) in southern Germany.

We offer the Tetrapeps individually or a little cheaper in a set of 3.

  • Set of 3 Spring (light green, light blue, pink)
  • Set of 3 Autumn (red, blue, brown)

Wool Care Instructions

How to wash wool?

"less is more...…" to help wool clothing last longer, only wash them when necessary.

The naturally contained wool grease (lanolin) ensures the self-regulating and antibacterial properties of wool fibres. Air out wool garment. Wash your wool clothing one final time at the end of the season or if it is very dirty. Hand wash with cool or cold water or wash on the wool, gentle, or delicate cycle with an enzyme-free liquid detergent like Sonett and a low spin speed (max. 400). If possible, use the washing machine setting for wool garments

How to dry your wool clothes and woollen textiles?

To avoid shrinking, don’t put wool clothing in the dryer. Instead, lay wool items flat to dry on a fresh towel or mesh rack in a spot that doesn’t receive direct sunlight. Carefully adjust the shape of the garment to ensure it is evenly stretched as it dries.

Ironing

Fleece loden and fine loden only with a damp cloth and iron from the left.

Detergent

We recommend using a special wool detergent that moisturises and cares for the wool. E.g. the olive detergent from Sonett.

Note – Warning: Not suitable for children under 36 months. Risk of suffocation. Contains small parts which can be swallowed.
