The peaked cap for women made of Eta-Proof organic cotton not only protects the head from direct sunlight, but is also water-repellent to stay dry and warm in light rain and drizzle. Due a special weave the organic cotton gets a constructive protection against moisture. It is windproof and has a breathable barrier to help keep women’s head warm, dry and comfortable. For heavy rain we recommend a waterproof headgear.

Care and Hints: Normally it is sufficient if the fabric is carefully brushed out or shaken. We do not recommend washing too often. Nevertheless, our weather gear can be washed. (40° C). Ironing reactivates the impregnation after washing. After a few washes, the impregnation diminishes, but can be re-impregnated with Nikwax (Cotton Proof) for example.Gradually, the washing process can cause the colours to fade over time, similar to jeans and denim.
