When it comes to organic fashion in brightly colourful designs and patterns, you are right at the eco label bingabonga. Since 2011, the owner Anna-Caroline Merseburger has been dedicated to slow fashion for babies, children, women and men. She relies on timeless fashion basics that fit for a long time and have the potential to become a favourite accessory. The sustainable, resource-saving and respectful treatment of the environment simply prohibits short-term fashion trends. In addition, in the coronavirus crisis, bingabonga expanded its production for makeshift face-masks made from GOTS-certified organic cotton.
For the entire collection, bingabonga uses organic cotton from European production that is certified according to the international textile standard Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This ensures that the garment consists of at least 70% of the sustainably grown natural fibre. An organic content of more than 95% carries the addition "organic". The standard regulates uniform requirements with regard to environmental and working conditions in the textile and clothing industry.
The organic cotton used by bingabonga is spun, woven and dyed in an environmentally friendly way and free of pollutants and harmful dyes – especially for sensitive baby skin clothing that is free of harmful substances and that is harmless to health are an absolute must! Allergy sufferers, women and men also benefit from the garment from eco cotton. Stylish accessories such as beanies and loops underline the casual style of clothing. Light organic jersey fabrics fit well in the transition period, winter models are lined with warming organic cotton fleece.
In a small Berlin sewing shop, bingabonga produces the timeless baby and children's fashion as well as the women's and men's accessories made of high quality and hard-wearing organic cotton. Short transport routes to the end customer and the job retention are part of Merseburger's sustainability strategy.
Precisely because babies and toddlers are growing quickly, bingabonga focuses on long service life. Rompers, comfortable trousers, plush trousers, skirts, dresses and hoodies are made of high quality and hard-wearing organic cotton. By dispensing with fashionable frills and unnecessary closures, timeless designs are created that can also be worn by siblings.
bingabonga creates sustainable and fair children's clothing that the little ones and their parents will enjoy for a long time. And if mom and dad also want to spice up their fashion style, bingabonga offers for women and men a wide variety of hats, beanies, gauntlets and loop scarves. The fashionable accessories come in strong patterns, in stripe design and in colour combinations from classic single-coloured to brightly coloured.
