Carline thistle root tea is particularly used to boost the immune system, helping the body fight off infections. This is a house tea from Weltecke, made from carefully selected ingredients and bottled fresh in Germany.

Methods of Usage
Inwardly: To prepare an infusion, prepare 1.5-3 g Carline thistle root tea in one or more tea bags with 150 ml of cold water and steep in hot water for about 10-15 minutes. Then pour over a tea strainer. This can be consumed as a tea, which is beneficial for digestive and respiratory issues.

Outwardly: Create a poultice by mashing 30 g fresh or dried Carlina acaulis leaves and brewing them with one litre of water for 10 minutes. Apply the poultice to the affected area, such as wounds or skin conditions, to promote healing.

Carlina acaulis, commonly known as the stemless carline thistle or dwarf carline thistle, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. The bracts of the inflorescence close or open depending on the current humidity. Two species are common in Central Europe: the silver thistle, also known as the stemless Carlina acaulis and the golden thistle, also known as the common Carlina vulgaris.
