Large Drinking Glass Galileo with Tree of Life Symbol in Gold | Nature’s Design
Like all Nature's Design glassware, the Galileo drinking glass has been calculated and formed according to the Golden Ratio. The liquid in the glass is energised by the shape. The change in structure makes the flavour of the liquids more intense and softer. The Tree of Life is burnt into the base in gold. The tumbler is dishwasher safe and stackable. This means that several Galileo drinking glasses can be stored together to save space. Galileo tumblers are mouth blown in the traditional way.

The Tree of Life is a popular and universal symbol that represents multiple different things across various cultures and religions. A tree is a universal symbol of strength and growth as they stand tall and strong all over the world. They spread their roots deep into the soil to the ground and stabilize themselves. The Tree of Life commonly represents the interconnectedness of everything in the universe. The tree gives us humans orientation, motivation, strength, and stability.

Cleaning
The symbol in the base of the glass (outside) is burnt in at a temperature of around 600°C and then coated with a food-safe protective coating. In principle, the glasses are dishwasher safe. After 500 to 1000 washes in the dishwasher, depending on the hardness of the water and the detergent used, the symbol may begin to fade.
Cloudy glasses – cause and solution
Frothy and cloudy glasses indicate that the glasses are calcified.
The main causes of cloudy glasses are as follows:
- Wooden items in the same wash cycle as glasses
- Hard water
- Incorrect dosage of rinse aid or too little salt
The best way to remove limescale is with warm water and a tablespoon of citric acid or vinegar essence. Pour the mixture of warm water and citric acid or vinegar essence into the glass and leave to soak for 12 hours. You can then dry and polish the glass. Repeat as necessary.
* Please only use citric acid and vinegar cleaners on the inside, as the acid may damage the symbol.
Hint: Dimensions are subject to standard tolerances of mouthblown manufacturing. Each carafe is an unique piece. Small imperfections, such as slightly different dimensions or small bubbles, are not a defect but rather a typical feature of handmade glass products.
