The skin-friendly romper bag made of fine loden provides lightness, offers enough freedom of movement and ensures that the baby's feet are pleasantly warm. The swaddling bag for newborns doesn't keep arms hugged to baby's body, which some little ones prefer. Made with fine loden and an organic cotton waistband, it's characeterised for its softness and breathability.

Loden fabric is pleasantly temperature-balancing and the fine loden is ideal for spring and summer. Wool is breathable and absorbs a lot of moisture, so the little ones do not sweat. The wool has a self-cleaning effect. The swaddling bag is available in two length (45 cm & 55 cm) with enough room for the little feet. The little ones can comfortably move their legs and sleep with arms up.

Swaddling bags are ideal for the first months after birth, because it is believed that new-borns feel particularly secure in them, like in the womb. Ecological Origin of New Wool

100% Virgin Wool, New Zealand: Loden fabric requires very fine wool, which is not suitable for European sheep. We have chosen not to use merino wool to ensure transparency and animal welfare.

Mulesing: The controversial method of mulesing is only used on Merino sheep and only in Argentina, as the specific fly responsible for the parasite infestation only exists there.

The lightweight loden fabric is woven, dyed and finished from 100% pure new wool in a traditional weaving mill (double certified) in southern Germany.

How to wash wool?

"less is more...…" to help wool clothing last longer, only wash them when necessary.

The naturally contained wool grease (lanolin) ensures the self-regulating and antibacterial properties of wool fibres. Air out wool garment. Wash your wool clothing one final time at the end of the season or if it is very dirty. Hand wash with cool or cold water or wash on the wool, gentle, or delicate cycle with an enzyme-free liquid detergent like Sonett and a low spin speed (max. 400). If possible, use the washing machine setting for wool garments

How to dry your wool clothes and woollen textiles?

To avoid shrinking, don’t put wool clothing in the dryer. Instead, lay wool items flat to dry on a fresh towel or mesh rack in a spot that doesn’t receive direct sunlight. Carefully adjust the shape of the garment to ensure it is evenly stretched as it dries.

We recommend using a special wool detergent that moisturises and cares for the wool. E.g. the olive detergent from Sonett.
