Olive Wood Soap Dish, rustic, with Draining Holes & vegetable soap | Olivenholz erleben
Whether for your own bathroom or as a gift – the rustic soap dish made of untreated olive wood is definitely a sustainable bathroom accessory. For body care and hand washing, a piece of French vegetable soap from Bormes les Mimosas is included, whose scent you can choose. For the drain of water, the olive wood soap tray has drainage holes.
Olive wood is water resistant and therefore well suited for humid rooms. The wooden soap dishes are made entirely by hand. Therefore the dimensions are approximate and may vary in exceptional cases by 0.5-1 cm up or down. The wall thickness can also vary and the grain is ALWAYS different, which is the natural beauty of the bathroom accessories. The holes at the bottom, used for water drainage, are not always exactly lined up because they adjust themselves according to the course of the wood.
The rustic soap dish made of olive wood should also be oiled again and again with some cooking oil. So it keeps its beautiful appearance and does not dry out. The wooden soap tray is available in three sizes and made in Germany by the olive wood manufactory “Olivenholz erleben” (D.O.M.).

Terms of delivery
We will ship within 4-5 business days after conclusion of contract (the delivery period begins after receipt of payment). Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the goods will be delivered in Germany within 3 –5 business days, in the case of foreign deliveries within 5 – 7 business days. When paying in advance the delivery period begins after receipt of payment. Please note that there is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays.
We ship by mail up to 1kg. From 1kg we ship with UPS, if necessary with DHL.
For international mail we use Post / DHL or UPS as a service provider

Energy- and resource-efficient
The drying of the olive wood takes place outdoors. Drying systems are not used. After drying, the wood is further processed: sawed, turned, drilled and finely ground. And brought to shine with a few drops of pure olive oil. The raw material olive wood is used from the trunk to the small pieces of olive wood. Even the chips or remnants are processed in the products or benefit the customer. For example, the chips of saws as smoker wood in the BBQ area.

Climate-friendly
The only transport of the raw material is the way to us and the shipping of an order from our workshop to the customer. The further processing is designed to save resources, since the storage for drying of olive wood takes place outdoors.

Reduction of pollutant
The olive wood is brought to shine with a few drops of pure olive oil. No use of varnish. Also, the wood glue used by us does not contain any solvents. Colourful soaps with 90% food dyes.

Olive wood is a raw material with a high hardness and density, which is extremely durable even under daily stress and which is extremely resistant to many substances and mechanical influences such as fats, hot cookware or sharp knife blades.

Each article gets an individual signature and becomes unique with its own story.
