Lights on, this is one of our favourite sleep gowns available in a gender-neutral cut. Uniting traditional shirt style, and popular colours, it's crafted in the same 100% sourced soft wool as our popular Flannel Bedding Collection. Besides fashionable colours, a classic plaid pattern in red hues covers a cosy long-sleeve flannel nightgown.
Softly flannel brings superior comfort to a nightshirt that's great for sleeping and perfect for lounging with zipper for easy peasy dressing. High side slits ensure sufficient freedom of movement.
Flannel is one of the quintessential cold weather fabrics, and for good reason; it’s warm, soft and temperature-balancing.
Clear trend in slow fashion: The nightdress is also very comfortable as a house dress for a cosy evening by the fireside or on the sofa.

Hint Delivery Time MTO:
This product is manufactured especially for you in our manufacture in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) after receiving your order and payment. It will reach you approx. 3-5 working days after your order, depending on the country your are living. Therefore, wastage, loss and overproduction are minimized. Also, we avoid unnecessary transport routes.
To make this fine loden we need fine wool, which we cannot get from European sheep. That is why we have chosen fine new wool from New Zealand. We have deliberately chosen not to use merino wool in order to guarantee our animal welfare standards, close contact with the producer and transparency.
The virgin wool is spun in Brandenburg and woven in Bavaria. The lightweight loden is woven, dyed and finished from 100% virgin wool by a traditional weaving mill (double certified) in southern Germany.
Mulesing: The controversial method of mulesing is only used on Merino sheep and only in Argentina, as the specific fly responsible for the parasite infestation only exists there.
How to wash wool?
"less is more...…" to help wool clothing last longer, only wash them when necessary.
The naturally contained wool grease (lanolin) ensures the self-regulating and antibacterial properties of wool fibres. Air out wool garment. Wash your wool clothing one final time at the end of the season or if it is very dirty. Hand wash with cool or cold water or wash on the wool, gentle, or delicate cycle with an enzyme-free liquid detergent like Sonett and a low spin speed (max. 400). If possible, use the washing machine setting for wool garments
How to dry your wool clothes and woollen textiles?
To avoid shrinking, don’t put wool clothing in the dryer. Instead, lay wool items flat to dry on a fresh towel or mesh rack in a spot that doesn’t receive direct sunlight. Carefully adjust the shape of the garment to ensure it is evenly stretched as it dries.
Ironing
Fleece loden and fine loden only with a damp cloth and iron from the left.
Detergent
We recommend using a special wool detergent that moisturises and cares for the wool.
Colour Disclaimer: Due to monitor settings and monitor pixel definition, we cannot guarantee the colour that you see will be exact from the actual colour of the product. We strive to make our colours as accurate as possible. However, colours are approximations of actual colours.
Hint gender-neutral language: The nightshirts by nahtur-design have a gender-neutral design and fit. As experience teaches that some colours are more preferred by girls and women or by boys and men, you will find the nightgowns assigned to the various categories at Greenpicks. For reasons of readability, gender-specific terms are used. We apologise for any inconvenience.
In our manufactory, we produce handcrafted high-quality products. We focus on the materials organic linen and loden made from pure merino wool obtained from species-appropriate husbandry.
Our fabrics are woven in Germany and Austria, our design, cutting and production is in Schleswig-Holstein/Germany.
The fabrics are predominantly organically grown or mulesing-free, very skin-friendly and breathable. Timeless fashion and high-quality materials are an expression of individuality and make our garments durable and sustainable.
Linen has always provided a very pleasant climate, it has the ability to cool in summer and warm in winter, the lively fabric surface provides a pleasant massage of the skin. Home textiles are particularly absorbent and dry very quickly.
The loden is water-repellent, breathable and warming. The napped surface makes water drip off and keeps the wind out. Excess heat is well conducted to the outside.
Our materials are low-noise and particularly well tolerated.

Sustainability
This product meets the following sustainability criteria
We calculate our prices fairly and transparently in all directions. Our suppliers are paid just as fairly as our local employees. We do not calculate later reductions or transport costs. Due to the order-specific production, there are no storage costs and no disposal costs for overproduction.
We produce our products in our manufactory and manufacture everything under one roof, from design to cutting to production. In this way we avoid transport routes. Our products are only produced after receipt of order or in very small quantities. In this way we avoid overproduction and conserve valuable raw materials. Zero Waste: We produce without leaving any residue. Fabric remnants that occur when the products are cut are collected and processed into our "zero-waste collection" in cooperation with a social institution (Brücke S-H) in Kiel. The smallest remnants are processed in a paper mill from the 18th century sheet by sheet to 100% linen handmade paper.
From idea to design, cutting, production and shipping, we do it all under one roof. This means there are no transport routes and we save valuable resources. The loden fabric is woven in southern Germany from the finest New Zealand new wool and comes to us by the shortest route. We have made a conscious decision not to use merino wool in order to maintain contact with our suppliers and, above all, to guarantee animal welfare standards. The Cloth Mill has been recognised for its sustainable production methods, which include a closed water cycle for the production and finishing of fabrics.
